Before we begin, I always take a few minutes to explain the session’s process and the role of the medium to the client. This clarifies the process and puts the consultant at ease. <\/p>\n
Then I step aside and become a mere spiritual intermediary. I never know which spirit will come forward to speak with the client, but generally, they are someone the client knows. I start by describing the person who has come, and then I communicate his or her message. <\/p>\n
The consultant plays an active role in the contact. He\/she confirms with a “yes” or “no” the description I give. Only after this recognition does the spirit transmit its message. <\/p>\n
While the message is being transmitted, I go into a trance state. However, if the client feels uncomfortable with this idea, I remain fully present and conscious to ensure their comfort. <\/p>\n
